2. Make sure that the bathroom is wide enough for a wheelchair to do a 360 turn. To achieve this, put fewer things and make sure that all the bathroom paraphernalia are all put in a place that would make the bathroom big. You can consider installing a shower that has no barrier.
3. There should be a space underneath the sink for the disabled knee and its wheelchair. This will allow them to access the bathroom sink.
4. Use lever handles for doors instead of door handles. Disabled people may have difficulty opening it themselves.
5.Your bathroom should have a grab bar that is either in L-shaped, horizontal or vertical. You have to mount this in both toilet area and bath tub. These would allow them also to access these by themselves.
